When wrapping potatoes in foil to bake in the oven, wrap them with the shiny-side-in. Apparently it makes it cook quicker and makes the potato skin crispier??
I have no idea if this is true, but I guess I just formed this habit and now it has stuck... And my potatoes always come up really yummy, so it works for me!
