Easter Decorating 2013

I think I have been too busy with all of my other projects to get the Easter 'bug' early this year!  I have done a little bit of decorating around the house, but I haven't gone crazy, like I did last year ;)

Chocolate Easter Nests Gifts

Last Easter I decided to make presents for everyone, rather than buy Easter Eggs.  I chose to make these little Easter nests.  These are all over Pinterest and the internet, probably because they are really simple to make, and quite cost effective too.

 

Easter Cake Pops

Last Easter  I decided to give Cake Pops a try!  I must admit that it was an awful lot of work, but they looked quite pretty and tasted yummy!

Easter Bunny Biscuits

I know Easter is now done and dusted, but I have one last egg-cellent idea to share ;)  And since you are all probably chocolate-d out, this is a nice sweet treat that isn't chocolate.

I decided to make these Easter Bunny biscuits for something new this year!  I think they turned out so cute!

Easter Decorating

Today I just wanted to share a few little decorations/displays that have Easter-ised our home this week!  You may recognise some of the decorations that I have recycled from the Easter decorating in my office at work (which you can read about here).

On top of the microwave I have my Martha Stewart Special Occasions book opened up to the Easter chapter, along with a basket of glittery carrots.

Easter 2011

As I have been recently catching up on my Project Life from 2011, I came across our Easter photos from our celebrations at my Mum and Dad's house last year.  I thought I would just share some pictures of our Easter Sunday...

An Easter Table Setting for Little People

I was very lucky to have three very special little visitors at my house earlier this week!  I took great pleasure in creating a really simple, yet fun Easter table for little people :)

Easter Lollipops

Easter is in the air!  I just love the 'freshness' of Easter... the soft, pastel colours, the spring chickens, the fluffy bunnies and, of course, the yummy Easter treats!

Today I wanted to share with you a really quick little gift idea - Easter lollipops!  A bit of a variation on Easter eggs - I always struggle to make giving one Easter egg look cute...

Easter Decorating (At Work)

So, everyone knows I love to decorate!  Special occasions are a great excuse to 'change the scenery'!  My office buddy and I decided to dress up our office with some delightful Easter decorations!

We popped window stickers onto the window that faces the hallway outside our office.

Cupcake Toppers

I am a huge fan of cupcakes!  I just love them!  They are perfect for any occasion and so easy to transform to suit any event.  Earlier this year I discovered 'cupcake toppers'.  They are such a great way to make cupcakes even more wonderful!
